ART & STATIONERY
Angela Andersen
Born and raised on the island, Angela's paintings are portraits of trees, particularly old growth trees here on Vancouver Island.
The quality of light filtering through the canopy of our west coast forest is particularly fascinating to me. I seek to express the sound of the wind through the trees in colour and light. The fluidity of cedar bark, the solidity of massive trunks and leading lines of sweeping tangle branches are the notes I compose with.
Branch & Pebbles
All of our work is handmade by us from start to finish, including our frames. With our beautiful whitewashed, rustic frames, we are then able to create elegant family pebble portraits using materials collected locally.
Our seaweed trees represent the tree of life and the family tree. We carefully collected from the beaches of Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. We gather only the sea tangle that has washed up on the shore. Nothing has been harvested, and no ecosystems are negatively impacted.

Creatures of the Sun
Pacific North-West inspired psychedelic landscape art pieced together from a lifetime of Vancouver Island adventures. Andrew Talbot (Tali) grew up exploring and photographing the far corners of the island from an early age. Influenced by years of surf trips, hikes and kayaking along the West Coast, his canvases offer a glimpse into the sacred places that connect us with nature and our inner beings. Works are created using acrylic paint, brushes, paint pens and airbrush on canvas wood and fungi. Prints are locally made in the Comox Valley and available on canvas, fine art paper, posters, calendars, greeting cards, magnets and stickers. Wood frames are built from locally salvaged driftwood and milled Red Cedar, and highlight the beauty of each unique canvas.

Eliska Liska
As a conceptual artist I've never settled with one media therefore my stand is always an explosion of ideas-my main media last few years is porcelain and I can't get enough. I hand paint every piece and even when I try I can't do the same image twice, they are always unique. Most of the standard dishes (plates, bowls, vases, flowerpots and mugs) are done on wheel by my friend Nancy Alexander. I mainly paint them and if there's spare time I make few pieces too. I also work as an illustrator and painter and you can always find on my stand my books, prints, cards, matrioshka dolls, felted creatures, jewelry and anything else that catches my attention.
Hello Yellow Canary
West Coast themed artwork created to bring a piece of the great outdoors to your cozy indoors and stationery designed to lift spirits up. All lovingly locally made in Victoria and Vancouver using environmentally conscious materials wherever possible.
At the heart of my work lays a celebration of the Pacific Northwest wings, trees, fins and seas. I take stylistic influence from vintage scientific illustrations and primarily draw with fine pens and paint with gouache. Presenting imagery in both technical and imagined scenes, my aim is to shine a spotlight of appreciation onto our local flora and fauna.
Through my line 'Hello Yellow Canary', I shift focus from our outside world to our inner one and promote a theme of playfulness and positivity to share with others. These greeting cards and giftables are designed to make you smile with your favourite people and their focus is on encouraging mental wellness and support.

Kailyard Creations is all about creating fun(ny) greeting cards and paper-crafts that’ll make you smile and even laugh-out-loud. Everything is individually hand-made so no two are exactly alike, kinda like snowflakes!
Kailyard Creations’ cards and papercrafts are fun, unique and created with a combination of rubber stamps and my own typography. Love a good pun? Me, too! It’s kinda my jam!! That and my dry, bordering on sarcastic, humour!
My products are hand-stamped then coloured with specialty markers, inks, watercolours and sparkly things! The cards are then built up in layers for a nifty 3-D effect.

Newfolk&Cabin Paper Studio
Newfolk&Cabin illustrated greeting cards and art work. Making cards and art so you can make your world more beautiful.
I love the idea of sending love and kindness through the mail, just letting someone know you are thinking of them: handwritten, on real paper. I guess it's the idea of sharing art, emotion, a bit of kindness.
I love spending my time making cards knowing I could make someone laugh or smile.
I love making art as well - I think I’d describe it as a surrealist blockprint style. For me it’s a place on the page where dreams and design can meet and merge. I have a background in art history and just can’t resist attaching some sort of analysis to art work; so with each of my prints a dream analysis is included.
Send love, send art, send happy.

Rose Currie
Rose Currie is a painter in Victoria. She offers prints, cards and original paintings of her Victoria landscapes.
Shifting light, grand scale and west coast hues are hallmarks of Rose's current work. Her paintings explore the wonder and quiet iconography of Victoria. The sea at the Dallas Road waterfront is where so many of us Victorians feel home. The sky flickers and changes, the water swells and moves with every passing second, no moment is ever repeated. She roams there during the magic hour, in the silence of snow, during downpours and storms to get photos for new work.
Stitched Pictures by Caroline Storie
Original stitched collage pieces made into greetings cards and calendars. Designed to make you smile and feel better about your day.
Welcome to the colourful, creative world of Stitched Pictures. I beaver away in my studio in the Cowichan Valley and make pictures using fabric, paint, thread, paper and ink, all stitched together with my trusty Janome sewing machine. My themes are typically big and small feelings, the power of creativity, motivating action or simply themes to bring a happier day. I love colour and I love pursuing a dream and like to connect with people on this level. I sell my work as originals and quirky, fun greetings cards.

Wild Pine Design
Wild Pine creates a vast range of wood burnings all inspired by the West Coast and burnt by hand.
What began as wedding place settings in 2013, has grown into hundreds of personalized wood burnt pieces found in homes around the world.
Let's talk handmade, each piece is burnt by hand, some taking over ten hours to complete, even the cribbage boards are drilled by hand.
Inspired by the West Coast forests and the rugged shorelines of Vancouver Island, Wild Pine melds the two into her rustic burnings. From ornaments and charcuterie boards to driftwood decor and cribbage boards, there’s no surface she won’t turn into art.
